Armed with more muscle, a redesigned exterior, a new AMG all-wheel-drive system and an "S-Model" option for even greater power and exclusivity, AMG's newest expression of the legendary E-Class re-sets the luxury-performance standard at a blistering pace.

In the new 2014 E63 AMG, Mercedes-AMG has done more than unveil the quickest and most powerful E-Class yet. It has engineered vehicles that will leave would-be competitors in its wake. Behind a new "twin-blade" front grille forming the centerpiece of a redesigned exterior, the hand-built 5.5-liter BiTurbo V8 AMG engine now transfers its prodigious power to all four wheels, courtesy of a new AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system engineered specifically for performance. Meanwhile, a reimagined cabin featuring new front sport seats, a new AMG instrument cluster and a new AMG-specific analog clock with styling by IWC creates an atmosphere that's equal parts race-worthy and refined.

For those seeking an even higher degree of exhilaration and exclusivity, AMG has developed an all-new "S-Model" variant in Sedan and Wagon form. In the performance department, an elevated power curve with additional horsepower, a boost in top speed and a zero-to-sixty time unmatched by virtually any other car on the road are accompanied by a limited-slip rear differential for more grip during acceleration. On the style front,
S-Model vehicles receive distinctive exterior design features like front apron trim in high-gloss black, 10-spoke AMG Matte Titanium Grey wheels, red brake calipers and "S" trunk badging. Inside, details including AMG-embossed front head restraints, contrast stitching and Alcantara® wrapped steering-wheel grips put S-Model vehicles in a handcrafted league all their own.

The new 2014 E63 AMG models arrive on U.S. shores this summer.

1. Engine requires the use of ultralow-sulfur diesel fuel. Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles utilize advanced emission control technology that is designed to comply with current stringent exhaust emissions regulations. Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel with no more than 5% biodiesel content must be used. Mercedes-Benz approves the use of B5 biodiesel in all BlueTEC engines as pure biodiesel (B100) and biodiesel blends greater than B5 (e.g. B10, B20, etc.) are not factory-approved and can damage the engine, fuel system and exhaust after treatment system. The only approved biodiesel content is one that both meets ASTM D6751 specifications and has the oxidation stability to necessary to prevent deposit/corrosion-related damages to the system (min 6th proven by EN14112 method). Please see your service station for further information. If the B5 biodiesel blend does not clearly indicate that it meets the above standards, do not use it. The Mercedes-Benz New Vehicle Limited warranty does not cover damage caused by non Mercedes-Benz approved fuel standards. BlueTEC models are not available in Illinois.

2. Towing requires optional trailer hitch. Read Operator's Manual before towing. In some states, aftermarket trailer brakes are required. See dealer for details.

3. Technologies such as Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and DISTRONIC PLUS with PRE-SAFE® Brake are no substitute for active driving involvement, driving awareness, and checking of surrounding traffic conditions. They cannot be relied on to avoid an accident or serious injury.  It is the driver´s responsibility at all times to be attentive to traffic and road conditions, and to provide the steering, braking and other driving inputs necessary to retain control of the vehicle.
