Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich

munich.jpg

Enter the road from your hotel and refer to the appropriate mile-by-mile guide for the trip to Munich. Cosmopolitan Munich is a contrast to the bucolic farming villages that make up most of Bavaria. A mix of avant-garde culture and traditional Bavarian heartiness makes this city one of the liveliest, most vital in Europe. Munich's Bayerischer Hof is within walking distance of the Opera House, theaters and other points of interest in the city's center. At the same time, it's just 40 miles from the foot of the Alps. Your stay at this elegant landmark includes a complimentary breakfast buffet.
To ship your car from Munich, you may simply leave your car at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof and turn in the car keys and documents at the reception desk. Call E.H. Harms, the shipping representative in Munich (telephone 326 1011), to report that the car is ready. The taxi voucher in your Rally kit will get you to the Munich airport for your flight back.
If you wish to see more of Europe after your stay in Munich, please arrange for an alternate drop-off point at the time of delivery. You may extend your 15-day zero-deductible insurance, at additional cost, but you must do so at least one week before you pick up your vehicle.

Day 4: Black Forest Alps Rally Package

From the Interalpen-Hotel, the driving distance to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich is approximately 80 miles. Drive time is approximately two hours. (Set trip meter to "0" miles.)
