AGILITY CONTROL

Engineered specifically for performance driving, AGILITY CONTROL automatically adjusts the individual shock absorbers based on the road surface and the driver's current driving style. Valving inside each shock absorber automatically firms up during stronger body motions for sharper handling feedback and stability, and reduces the damping rates during gentler motions for a smoother, more composed ride.

7-speed automatic transmission

The industry's first 7-speed automatic transmission remains one of the most versatile automatics on the market. A wide range of closely spaced gear ratios delivers the ideal response for virtually every driving situation, for smooth cruising, quick acceleration, and thanks to two overdrive ratios, better highway fuel efficiency. Adaptive logic monitors your driving style and adjusts its shift points to match, while Touch Shift control offers manual-style shifting enjoyment anytime you want it.

Blind Spot Assist

When the vehicle is traveling above approximately 20 mph, this system uses radar technology to sense when a vehicle enters the blind-spot area. Blind Spot Assist then automatically alerts the driver via an illuminated red icon in the appropriate side mirror. The system also gives an audible warning if the driver activates a turn signal while a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.

1.8L turbo-4

A new-generation, 201-hp 1.8-liter four in the C250 Coupe combines numerous advances and an intercooled turbo to deliver 229 lb-ft of peak torque, more than the previous V-6. Its rapid-multispark ignition can fire up to four times per millisecond. New high-pressure Direct Injection can microscopically fine-tune the fuel spray in 0.1 milliseconds, reducing emissions, fuel consumption and noise. A lightweight diecast-alloy block, quicker and more widely variable valve timing, reduced friction, and clever "on-demand" ancillary components like the alternator further boost efficiency.

Lane Keeping Assist

With technology that monitors ordinary road markings, Lane Keeping Assist helps detect unintended drifting off-course, and alerts the driver by vibrating the steering wheel.

10GB Music

10GB Music Register
Music Register allows you to store up to 10GB of your own digital music on the in-dash hard drive. It lets you copy songs from your CDs, DVDs and certain memory devices and save them to your vehicle's audio system, so you can listen to them anytime and anywhere you drive.

4-wheel Electronic Traction System

4-ETS can help get you going even if three wheels lose their grip. Sensors at each wheel monitor traction based on wheel speeds. If one or more wheels start to slip, 4-ETS individually brakes the slipping wheels to maintain the flow of torque to the wheels with grip. Even if only one wheel has grip, 4-ETS can help get you going and stay in control.

Panorama roof

Offering both front- and rear-seat passengers sweeping skyward views, this fully functional glass sunroof features a front panel that can either tilt up for ventilation or slide over the rear panel for an open-air feeling. Dual interior power shades allow occupants to adjust the amount of sunlight entering the cabin.

3.5L V-6

A new 302-hp 3.5-liter V-6 combines numerous advances to deliver more torque over a wider range of rpm. active Bi-Xenon headlamps

Bi-Xenon headlamps help deliver greater visibility than halogen headlamps because their brighter, whiter light is much closer to natural daylight. Active Curve Illumination helps you see better into corners at night, swiveling the headlamps as you steer to increase usable illumination by up to 90% over conventional fixed headlamps.
