The optional AMG Styling Package elevates the "sport" in SUV with 20-inch AMG wheels surrounded by sculpted lower body styling. LED Daytime Running Lamps and brushed aluminum roof rails highlight its functional form.

The optional Lighting Package does so quite literally, with piercing Bi-Xenon headlamps featuring Active Curve Illumination and corner-illuminating front lamps. Bright white LED Daytime Running Lamps help garner the attention, and admiration, of other drivers.

Adaptive brakes

Powerful 4-wheel disc brakes feature a number of advances. If you lift off the accelerator quickly, Predictive Brake Priming sets the pads closer to the discs for more immediate response when you apply the brakes. In the rain, Automatic Brake Drying periodically applies the brakes just enough to sweep water build-up from the discs. And during uphill starts, Hill-Start Assist helps prevent unwanted rollback.

iPod®/MP3 Media Interface - Multimedia Launch Package

iPod/MP3 Media Interface
Easily accessible from the center console, the iPod/MP3 Media Interface turns your Mercedes-Benz into an extension of your iPod or compatible electronic device. Browse, select and play your musical accompaniment of choice using steering-wheel, COMAND-system or stereo controls.

iPod Integration Kit

The Mercedes-Benz iPod Integration Kit allows control of the Apple iPod through the steering wheel-mounted control buttons. Song information is displayed in instrument cluster. Apple iPod is not included in this kit. iPod Integration Kit is only compatible with iPod models with standardized dock connector (not compatible with iPod Shuffle or Generation 1 iPods). Controls on iPod are not available when connected to vehicle. This kit may require vehicle coding to activate steering wheel-mounted control buttons and it is recommended it be installed by an MBUSA-approved repair facility. MBUSA does not provide with this kit any means to secure iPod in glovebox-this is the sole responsibility of the customer (iPod Cradle available and sold seperately). MBUSA will not be liable for any damage caused by or to an unsecured iPod.

LED Daytime Running Lamps - AMG Styling Package or Lighting Package

LED Daytime Running Lamps
Bright white LED Daytime Running Lamps are included with either the Lighting Package or AMG Styling Package. The LED DRLs help increase the visibility of your vehicle to oncoming traffic by illuminating front lights whenever the car is switched on. With long life and low energy consumption, the light-emitting diode (LED) lamps also add a distinctive high-tech styling touch.

Power liftgate - Premium 1 Package

Power liftgate
For added convenience in the rain or with an armful of packages, you can fully open and close the liftgate via a switch on the driver's interior door panel or a button on the SmartKey remote. Press a button on the underside of the liftgate and it powers itself closed. A sensor automatically stops the liftgate if it detects an obstruction, and you can set the system to limit the opening height, useful under low ceilings.

Using GPS technology and a 40GB hard drive to store maps, points of interest, and Zagat® Survey ratings for restaurants, hotels and golf courses, this virtual copilot provides detailed driving directions with remarkable speed and a friendly voice. The COMAND system's large color-LCD screen also displays gas stations, ATMs and Mercedes-Benz dealerships along your route within the contiguous U.S., Canada and Oahu, Hawaii, with periodic updates available at your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer.
