A new handcrafted 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8 generates 518 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, achieving a 4.2-second 0-60 run along with greater efficiency. A 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission features a wet startup clutch, a fuel-saving new ECO Start/Stop system and shifts as quick as 100 milliseconds. From the console, the AMG DRIVE UNIT offers driver-selectable setups for the transmission, suspension, steering and 3-mode ESP®. Massive multi-piston brakes and 19" wheels set off exclusive bodywork. From its cockpit, the AMG-enhanced instrumentation, controls and driver assists connect the driver to a performance experience that excels equally on the racetrack and in everyday enjoyment.
