Plug-In Hybrid technology
Advanced Plug-In Hybrid technology delivers numerous electric-car benefits while retaining the convenience of a gasoline engine. The compact electric motor can deliver a substantial boost in power and torque, or let you drive around town on battery power alone. Charging can come from the gas engine and regenerative braking, or plug it into an ordinary AC outlet to go from 0 percent to fully charged in just 3.25 hours. Standard 60kW DC charging can go from 10 to 80 percent in 20 minutes.
4MATIC fully variable all-wheel drive
<p>A specially engineered version of 4MATIC® can automatically send from zero to 100% of the engine's torque to either axle, front or rear. A transfer case with a multi-disc clutch can vary the torque distribution based on the driving conditions in the moment. While this allows for precise response to varying surfaces and individual-wheel traction off-road and in inclement weather, it can also enhance handling in any season by favorably influencing the vehicle's rotation.</p>
20-inch twin 5-spoke wheels
<p>Large yet lightweight 20-inch alloy wheels feature a flared spokes whose machined surfaces and contrasting geometric inlays create a powerful visual whether at a standstill or in motion. They're fitted with all-season tires.</p>

<p>Offering sweeping skyward views, this fully functional glass sunroof features a front panel that can either tilt up for ventilation or slide over the rear panel for an open-air feeling. Dual interior power shades allow occupants to adjust the amount of sunlight entering the cabin. With nearly 11 sq ft of glass, all passengers can enjoy a grand view of the sun and stars.</p>
MBUX Superscreen
<p>A major achievement in automotive displays, the Superscreen unites an LED instrument cluster, and two LED touchscreens behind a single cross-cabin span of high-strength, fingerprint-and scratch-resistant glass. Features include permanent soft keys for primary controls, and innovative "zero-layer" intelligent menu surfacing.</p>
