What's your favorite thing about your job?
Being a technical performance specialist, I have the unique opportunity to provide technical training to dealership technicians from the Northeast Region. Being able to interact with the technicians and provide them the knowledge and skills necessary to do their jobs more precisely is truly fulfilling in my quest to help people. My job combines my passion of automobiles and technology with the reward of helping others.
What makes you proud to work at MBUSA?
Nothing shouts out excitement like the three-pointed star! Having an association with a remarkable brand like the three-pointed star and Mercedes-Benz is awesome! Furthermore, the family of passionate employees that I have the honor of working with solidifies my pride in working for MBUSA.
What challenges you at work?
The constant changes, enhancements, and fruitions of new technologies in the Mercedes-Benz product line-up spark my desire to learn something new. Much of the time, I research a new technology to gain the best possible understanding of its function and form. I challenge myself to gain this understanding of new technologies so that I can better do my job as a trainer. I need to have the confidence that I know what I´m talking about.
Why would you recommend someone to work at MBUSA?
MBUSA offers a wide variety of job opportunities under one umbrella. The benefits are the best around. The atmosphere is awesome. It´s Mercedes-Benz.
How do you spend your time outside work (interest, hobbies, etc.)?
I love anything that has to do with bicycles. I have been an avid mountain bike rider for years. I recently ventured into the road bike realm. Both are fun, depending on the landscape! I also like to work on bicycles, making general repairs and adjustments. I like to play tennis (although I always have been and always will be a neophyte) and follow the different tennis pro opens. I also like the game of baseball. Although I haven´t played in a long time, I like to watch games and enjoy learning about the history of the game. In the summer, I enjoy gardening, specifically growing cucumbers to make pickles.
