Iconic craftsmanship, bionic heart
The AMG P3 Performance Plug-in Hybrid powertrain pairs a handcrafted 4.0L biturbo V8 with a rear-mounted Electric Drive Unit. The EDU's electric motor, two-speed transmission and 13.1-kWh battery are directly inspired by Formula 1® racing. Multiclutch speed, multiple talents
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9-speed transmission's multiple modes can quicken shift times and offer direct multi-gear downshifts. The electric rear motor's two-speed transmission allows its full torque to be on tap at all times, while integrating the benefits of a fast-acting limited-slip differential.
Seven drive modes, from serene to sonorous
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT lets you fine-tune the car's driving character via a console control or the AMG DRIVE UNIT on the steering wheel. Seven modes, one customizable, vary the hybrid powertrain parameters, as well as shifting, damping, exhaust note and more. Compression and rebound damping, ride height with auto-lowering at speed, and innovative Active Roll Stabilization all enhance tire contact, driver feedback and passenger comfort on surfaces from rough roads to sharp corners.
Impressive at a stop, even more so getting there
AMG high-performance brakes feature perforated and ventilated compound discs, sized 15.7 inches front and 15 inches rear.
