At the touch of a control on the console or steering wheel, you can dial in the performance of the AMG CLE 53. The five selectable drive modes of AMG DYNAMIC SELECT let you fine-tune the throttle, shifting, exhaust note and more.
Performance, triple-boosted
Turbocharging plus an electric auxiliary compressor boost the AMG-enhanced inline-6 to 443 hp, 413 lb-ft. An overboost function can pump it to 443 lb-ft for brief bursts. Electric hybrid assist can add 23 hp and 151 lb-ft gas-free. Four seconds can bring you to 60 mph. Disclaimer[5]
Geared to please, nine ways
The AMG SPEEDSHIFT® TCT 9-speed offers multiple modes and quick gear changes. Shift paddles on the AMG Performance steering wheel offer manual control, along with multi-gear downshifts.

With active internal flaps tuned to the driving mode, rpm and load, the available AMG Performance Exhaust can compose engine notes into a symphonic crescendo, or bring it all down to a mellow growl from the four tailpipes.
