2. To use Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras, a personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the terms of use are required. In addition, the vehicle must be paired with the corresponding user account, and if applicable, the Digital Extras must be activated. Some Digital Extras may have additional requirements and limitations, including the need for customer to accept third-party agreements (e.g. concerning streaming, charging, data volume) and the separate purchase of selected third-party compatible devices (e.g. smartphone, smartwatch). Some Digital Extras may only be available for specific customer groups.
3. First activation of the services is possible within one year from first vehicle registration or commissioning by the customer, whichever comes first. Upon expiry of the initial term, the services can be renewed on payment of a fee via the Mercedes-Benz store, provided they are still offered for the corresponding vehicle at that point.
4. Use of the MBUX Entertainment Package also requires the customer's own data plan. In order to use certain apps via Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras, a separate customer-specific contract with app provider may be required.
5. The included app package provides access to various third-party apps, which can vary at any time over the vehicle’s lifecycle.
6. New technologies must always meet the legal requirements of the different markets, and must therefore be adapted accordingly.
