Using a network of ultrasonic sensors, radar and cameras, it supports everyday driving with speed adjustment, distance control, steering assistance and lane changes, so you remain confidently in command.
These technologies can help monitor speed limits, lane markings, nearby vehicles and obstacles, and may provide audio and visual alerts when attention is needed. In certain situations, they can also apply braking or offer steering assistance to support you in a range of driving conditions.*

Active Brake Assist

Blind Spot Assist
For added peace of mind, this feature monitors the blind spot and alerts the driver with a red triangle in the exterior mirror, accompanied by an audible warning. When the optional Driver Assistance package is activated, support and functionalities are further enhanced. Disclaimer[7]
Adaptive Highbeam Assist

The DISTRONIC® System

Active Steering Assist

This feature provides continuous steering support to keep the vehicle centered by monitoring lane lines and surrounding traffic. Disclaimer[10]
Active Emergency Stop Assist
(Requires DISTRONIC® Activation)
If the system detects driver inactivity — such as during a medical emergency or prolonged lack of steering input — it prompts the driver to take control. If the driver remains unresponsive, it gently slows the vehicle in its lane and alerts surrounding traffic. Once stopped, it can call for help and unlock the doors for timely assistance. Active Lane Change Assist

Automatic Lane Change Assist
(Requires DISTRONIC® Activation)
This function adds driving comfort on the highway by automatically changing lanes to the left to overtake slower traffic, making long journeys more relaxing. With Mercedes-Benz navigation guiding the drive, the system also helps keep the vehicle in the optimal lane for the route. Visual and audible cues keep you informed every step of the way. Route-based Speed Adaptation
& Active Speed Limit Assist

Route-based Speed Adaptation can anticipate upcoming curves and turns and assist with slowing down the vehicle. After the route event, the vehicle then accelerates back to the original set speed. Traffic Sign Assist

Active Blind Spot Assist

Active Lane Keeping Assist

PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist
