Support and safety for older children too: the quality KIDFIX XP child seat is suitable for children between the ages of around 3.5 and 12 years (body weight of 15 to 36 kg) and is securely attached to the vehicle by means of ISOFIT. The front-facing seat can also be secured in place using the vehicle seat belt in addition to ISOFIT. If the vehicle is not equipped with ISOFIT, the ISOFIT locking latches are folding and the seat secured using only the three-point seat belt. The seat's strengths include its exemplary side impact protection, courtesy of the energy-absorbing XP-PAD, which reduces the impact on the child in the event of a collision. Large, padded side bolsters also enhance side impact protection. The seat's V-shaped backrest is infinitely adjustable to the angle of the car's seats and can be moved to various different sleeping positions – without waking your child. Adjustable belt guides and head restraint allow the seat to grow with your child. Its elegant cover, in the exclusive Mercedes-Benz design, can be removed and washed. If required, the backrest can be removed so that the KIDFIX XP can be used as a booster seat. A replacement cover is available separately. Weight of child seat approx. 7.6 kg.
