In this SUV, we developed an ultra-compact hybrid system using 48-volt battery technology and paired it with an advanced internal combustion engine and electric motor integrated into the transmission. State-of-the art technology flows throughout with the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) that powers nearly every function within the vehicle — including the intuitive MBUX Virtual Assistant. Interactions become seamless conversations with its integrated AI and Zero Layer display approach that provides relevant information, recently used apps and suggestions.
While nimble and compact, we lengthened the wheelbase and elevated the roofline to create a roomier interior. The available SKY CONTROL panoramic roof with adjustable transparency brings an airy atmosphere. For a minimalist yet sporty feel, we completely redesigned the interior. The available MBUX Superscreen appears to float across the dash, door panels visually recede and air vents illustrate a futuristic high-tech appearance.
To complete the picture, the exterior design brings in sleeker proportions and dynamic lines with chrome trim elements and the new, iconic grille surround. Hot-stamped with 150 chrome stars, this new, optionally illuminated grille features a distinctive Mercedes-Benz Star pattern.
