Mercedes-Benz mbrace® - Sunset FAQ
mbrace® connected vehicle services — including the mobile app and in-vehicle services — discontinued on December 31, 2025, and have been terminated as of January 1, 2026. Provided by Verizon Connect Inc., these services were subject to the mbrace® Terms of Service.. For more information, please review the Terms of Service or our Frequently Asked Questions below.
Terms of Service- Model Year 2017 vehicles with an active mbrace® subscription were impacted.
- Model Year 2018 vehicles with an active mbrace® subscription were impacted. Certain 2018 GLE and C-Class vehicles are not affected, as they are equipped with Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras technology (option code 1P5) instead of mbrace®.
- All mbrace® services are now terminated and are no longer be available as of January 1, 2026.
- Vehicles previously subscribed to mbrace® no longer have access to all connected features, including Automatic Collision Notification, Stolen Vehicle Location Assistance and SOS/Emergency Call.
- Infotainment features such as Navigation, Bluetooth and SiriusXM are not impacted as they are not supported by mbrace®.
- All mbrace® connected vehicle services ended on December 31, 2025. After this date, all mbrace® services were discontinued.
- If payment had been made for services beyond December 31, 2025, a prorated refund for the unused portion should have been initiated after the shutdown. If a refund was not received by January 15, 2026, please contact customer service at 866-990-9007.
