Dual permanently synchronous electric motors (350kW total)
<p>Smooth, quiet and rich in torque, the EQS 500 4MATIC is powered by new, more advanced dual electric motors with 350 kW total output. They can distribute up to 469 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The "permanently excited synchronous motors" (PSMs) feature permanent magnets to generate AC current with high power density and efficiency. An advanced cooling system helps maintain consistent response during spirited driving and a wide range of climates.</p>
AIRMATIC with intelligent damping control
<p>For an optimal balance of comfort and control, the AIRMATIC® suspension's electronically controlled air springs can continually adjust to conditions. New intelligent damping can use Car-to-X information from other Mercedes-Benz vehicles driving ahead to "feel out" surface irregularities before you feel it in the cabin. Automatic 4-wheel level control can adapt to cargo and passengers, and lower at speed to enhance stability and efficiency.</p>
Ventilated front seats
<p>Ventilated seats are a luxury you'll soon consider a necessity. Three levels of heating and cooling ventilation are offered. By gently circulating air through perforations in the seat and backrest, ventilated seats help keep you cooler and your clothes drier during warmer months. Reversible fans help draw heat away for brief periods. On cold or damp days, using both the ventilation and heating together can circulate the seat heating more quickly, to help keep you warm and dry.</p>
4th Generation Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX)
<p>The fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) offers a highly personalized cabin experience. Artificial Intelligence from Microsoft and Google is integrated into the displays, touch-sensitive controls, and voice assistant, to help create a system that responds more naturally, seamlessly and rapidly to the needs, desires and commands of the driver and passengers.</p>
Digital Extra: MBUX Navigation with Electric Intelligence (7 years)
<p>MBUX Navigation integrates Google Cloud’s new Automotive AI Agent for in-car voice interaction with maps and other features. Standard MBUX Surround Navigation can combine a real-time 3D representation of the vehicle’s surroundings and route guidance on the driver display. Electric Intelligence helps optimize routing, dynamically factoring traffic, topography, temperature, as well as range and charging options along a route. Seven years of services are standard.</p>
Rear dual MBUX remote controls
<p>A pair of smartphone-like wireless remotes can be used in the cabin for a variety of MBUX features, such as audio volume, rear-cabin seating, climate and ambient light, and the available MBUX High-End Rear Seat Entertainment system. They dock in the rear armrest for charging and can be used while docked or handheld.</p>
