4.0L V8 biturbo engine with mild hybrid drive
<p>The 4.0L biturbo V8 is newly enhanced to further elevate response and refinement. Advancements to its fuel injection, intake, exhaust, camshaft and turbos along with a flat-plane crankshaft, new firing order and new twin balance shafts result in smoother, stronger performance. Output rises substantially, to 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of peak torque. Integrated mild-hybrid tech electrically boosts torque at low speeds and makes ECO Start/Stop operation more seamless.</p>
E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL with intelligent damping
<p>Combining enhanced capabilities with uncanny comfort, E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL can scan the road surface ahead via a stereo camera and adapt the spring rate, damping and leveling at each wheel. Benefiting from the vehicle's 48-volt electronics, the system can quickly counteract lean, pitch and dive, and even tilt into curves, to quell uneven surfaces and reduce the forces felt by passengers. New intelligent damping can use Car-to-X information from other Mercedes-Benz vehicles driving ahead to "feel out" surface irregularities before you feel it in the cabin.</p>
Multicontour front seats with massage
<p>Pneumatically adjustable lumbar and side supports offer custom-tailored comfort. Eight massage programs can soothe and rejuvenate your back and shoulders, including two spa-like "hot stone" massages, plus an "active workout" program to help strengthen your back and leg muscles.</p>
Power Executive rear seats with memory
<p>Dual power reclining seats let rear passengers ride in first-class comfort. In addition to power cushion angle adjustment, the seatbacks can recline up to 43 degrees without reducing legroom. Each seat also includes a memory system and power calf rest. The right seat adds rear-cabin controls for the right-front seat, whose "chauffeur position" can move the unoccupied front seat forward and tilt its seatback, to expand your legroom by nearly a foot.</p>

<p>A major achievement in automotive displays, the Superscreen unites an LED instrument cluster, and two LED touchscreens behind a single cross-cabin span of high-strength, fingerprint-and scratch-resistant glass. Features include permanent soft keys for primary controls, and innovative "zero-layer" intelligent menu surfacing.</p>
