The Community Impact Program nationally recognizes Mercedes-Benz dealers who are making the world a better place while demonstrating an outstanding commitment to supporting youth safety, educational empowerment, and local community causes.

Philanthropic Leaders

Dealers who exemplify long-term commitment to creating meaningful change by investing both financially and volunteering with nonprofit partners that are driving transformational impact in their communities. In addition to supporting local and national initiatives, these dealers demonstrate the power of sustained partnerships in building stronger, more resilient communities over time. The Philanthropic Leadership Award is awarded annually through an application process. Throughout the year, dealer applicants are selected quarterly in order to share their impact stories on an ongoing basis.

Community Champions

Dealerships designated as Community Champions have demonstrated their commitment to the community by financially investing in corporate national nonprofit partners as well as their local non-profit partners of choice. Community Champions have also demonstrated community involvement by participating in at least one community service event annually.

2025 Philanthropic Leadership Award Winners

Mercedes-Benz of Covington x Scott's Wish

For 5 years now, Mutts to Models—presented by MB of Covington— has been one of Northshore’s premier philanthropic events. Funds support Scott’s Wish in aiding nearly 150 critically ill patients each year with essentials like utilities, medical travel, and emergency bills, while also providing lifesaving care for abandoned pets and supporting The Duco Project’s care for retired Special Operations Forces K9s.

Mercedes-Benz of Wilkes-Barre x Fork Over Love​

Mercedes-Benz of Wilkes-Barre supports Fork Over Love, a nonprofit that combats food insecurity by purchasing hot, chef-made meals from local independent restaurants and distributing them free of charge to those in need, no questions asked. This model provides dignity to recipients while simultaneously supporting the local economy and sustaining neighborhood restaurants.

Mercedes Benz of Austin x Center for Child Protection

Mercedes-Benz of Austin demonstrates longstanding philanthropic leadership through its support of the Center for Child Protection and Dancing with the Stars Austin. Event proceeds fund trauma informed interviews, therapy, advocacy, and prevention education, helping the Center for Child Protection serve 1,695 children, 1,160 adults, and coordinate 1,182 cases annually.

Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis x Seeds 4 Success​

Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis partners with Seeds 4 Success, a nonprofit that works with the community to help children from low income communities gain the skills and support needed to succeed in school and life. Dealership employees helped wrap and distribute more than 300 gifts so students could receive presents at Christmas.

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land x Safe Kids Worldwide

Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land supports children in the community through efforts ranging from helping Make-A-Wish grant a young boy’s concert wish to leading the Clifford Story Time initiative with Children’s Museum Houston, the Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital, positively impacting local kids and families.

Mercedes-Benz of Orange Park x The Arc Jacksonville

For nearly a decade, The Fields Auto Group and Mercedes-Benz of Orange Park have partnered with The Arc Jacksonville, an assisted living community in North Florida for developmentally disabled adults. This partnership supports The Arc’s mission to promote inclusion and independence for its residents.

Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring x ShareBaby

Employees of Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring, together with the MileOne Cares program, partnered with Maryland Kids in Safety Seats, local hospitals, and social service agencies to distribute free car seats to expecting and new parents. In just two hours, 194 new car seats were provided along with education on proper installation.

Mercedes-Benz of Edison x Boomer Esiason Foundation

Ray Catena Motor Car's Mercedes-Benz of Edison supports the Boomer Esiason Foundation in making a difference for people with cystic fibrosis, their families, and the researchers driving scientific breakthroughs. This partnership advances the shared goal of improving lives while pursuing a cure.

Mercedes-Benz of Owings Mills x YMCA of Central MD

Mercedes-Benz of Owings Mills partnered with the YMCA of Central Maryland to pack 300 bags with warm clothing for the winter months. These bags will be distributed to youth at a local community school in partnership with the YMCA, supporting students’ essential cold‑weather needs.

Mercedes-Benz of Asheville x St. Michael’s Soldiers

Mercedes-Benz of Asheville supports St. Michael’s Soldiers, which raises funds year round to provide care packages to deployed U.S. service members. The dealership’s showroom serves as packing party space for boxes filled with supplies and mailed, so troops receive them during the December holiday season.
