The new 2023 Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture
The nexus of high fashion and ultra-luxury.
The great thing about rules is that you can always break them.
And that's exactly what the Mercedes-Maybach Haute Voiture does. It shatters our preconceived notions of automotive luxury and blurs the line between high fashion and art. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are everything you would expect from an haute couture designer, and the design and performance are singular to Mercedes-Maybach. It's a study in contrast and marriage of disparate worlds. Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, calls the vehicle "sophisticated luxury in its purest form," and it's no wonder why.
From the moment you first lay eyes on the Haute Voiture, it's apparent that this vehicle will appeal to the most discerning collectors. With a limited production run of 150, every vehicle gets its own numbered badge. A corresponding hand-made gift box featuring the numbered badge comes with a scaled model vehicle and key ring. In addition, a luggage collection comprised of select materials and fabrics will accompany the series car, retailing in early 2023 at Maybach Icons of Luxury physical and online stores.
The exterior features an exquisite two-tone metallic nautical blue and rose gold paint job, with a prominent Mercedes-Benz hood ornament (naturally). Chrome accents and blue-painted monoblock wheels separate the Haute Voiture from the rest of the S-Class pack. When you open the doors, animated Mercedes-Benz or Mercedes-Maybach patterns illuminate the front and rear entryways. Talk about making an entrance.
Step inside, and you'll find the same layout as the Maybach S 680, with a massive MBUX infotainment screen and Haute Voiture-specific visuals like rose gold accents and "sparkling glitter clouds." The cabin is adorned with a lux bouclé fabric and a custom pattern of blue, beige and rose gold (matching the vehicle's exterior). If you think this all sounds like a high-end haute couture handbag, you'd be exactly right. The exclusive matching luggage set features the same fabrics and materials as the vehicle's interior. And the pièce de resistance? Custom rose-colored champagne flutes—because owning a vehicle of this caliber deserves nothing less than a toast.
The team working at Mercedes‑Benz' Manufaktur in Sindelfingen has truly outdone themselves with the Haute Voiture. It's a piece of pure automotive art designed to take you from the runway to the highway and everywhere in between. Of course, if you purchase the limited-edition matching luggage, you can take the Haute Voiture with you anywhere.
