A trio of innovative electric motors can total over 800 hp in the GT 55. With triple the power density of conventional motors, they're inspired by Formula 1® and developed by AMG to deliver sustained high performance.
AMG RACE ENGINEER
A trio of rotary console controls, part of the GT 55's DYNAMIC PLUS Package, let you precisely dial in handling dynamics via AMG Response Control, Agility Control and 9-stage Traction Control.
AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension
The GT 55's multimode suspension’s continuously adjusting adaptive damping and four-wheel steering team up to offer both agility and comfort. An even more capable option adds Active Hydraulic Stabilization.
AMG high-performance battery
The newly developed 106-kWh battery applies AMG's racing expertise. Direct liquid cooling, 800V capacity and high energy density team up for sustained high performance previous elusive to EVs.
Active aerodynamics
The rear spoiler rises in stages to fine-tune its performance benefits. To enhance handling and range, AEROKINETICS applies standard and available underbody elements to draw the GT closer to the road.

Extensive personalization options start with a palette of more than six dozen paint colors. Some 50 MANUFAKTUR Exclusive paints range from heritage hues to modern matte shades.
Power front sport seats
Distinctively designed, deeply contoured heated power front seats are impeccably tailored in a colorful range of upholsteries, from microfiber inerts to indulgent MANUFAKTUR Nappa leathers.
Spacious rear cabin
A true grand touring car, the AMG GT's rear doors welcome in two or optionally three passengers. Recessed footwells further enhance comfort, while split-folding seatbacks add cargo versatility.
Digital Extra: MB.DRIVE ASSIST
Standard driver assists include Distance Assist DISTRONIC® cruise control, Steering Assist and Proactive Lane Change Assist. There's even a system to help keep you from curb-rashing your wheels.
AMG high-performance brakes
Standard on the GT 55 are AMG high-performance brakes with carbon-ceramic front brakes measuring more than 16 inches. Their 6-piston calipers are offered in a variety of colors.
Center air bag
The advanced restraint systems in the AMG GT 4-door Coupe include an innovative air bag between the driver and front passenger.
Virtual watchdog
After you park, GUARD 360°® can alert you if the car is bumped. It can even use the car's exterior cameras to take pictures and send them to you via the Mercedes-Benz app.
Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX)
Powered by MB.OS, MBUX teams artificial intelligence with genuine ingenuity. A lifelike voice assistant responds to your natural speaking, or numerous touch interfaces offer silent control of features.
Digital cockpit
Three vivid displays span the dash, including a driver-angled central multimedia touchscreen and an entertainment screen for the front passenger. New GT-specific instrumentation is reconfigurable.
Digital light, star bright
