Plug-In Hybrid technology
<p>Advanced 4th-gen Plug-In Hybrid technology delivers numerous electric-car benefits while retaining the convenience of a gasoline engine. The compact electric motor can deliver a substantial boost in power and torque, or let you drive up to 49 miles on battery power alone. Charging can come from the gas engine and regenerative braking, or plug it into an ordinary AC outlet to go from 0 percent to fully charged in just 3.25 hours. Standard 60kW DC charging can go from 10 to 80 percent in 20 minutes.</p>
4MATIC fully variable all-wheel drive
<p>A specially engineered version of 4MATIC® can automatically send from zero to 100% of the engine's torque to either axle, front or rear. A transfer case with a multi-disc clutch can vary the torque distribution based on the driving conditions in the moment. While this allows for precise response to varying surfaces and individual-wheel traction off-road and in inclement weather, it can also enhance handling in any season by favorably influencing the vehicle's rotation.</p>
64-color LED ambient lighting
<p>A network of LEDs let you create cabin ambience to suit your mood. Edge-lighting outlines the dash/door trim and console grips, and casts a glow in the footwells, door handles and door pockets. Along with 64 selectable colors and adjustable brightness, numerous programs let you enjoy two colors at once, or slowly changing hues. The dash lighting briefly acknowledges your climate-control adjustments. And a "light show" greets your arrival.</p>
Surround View System
<p>The advanced Surround View System uses cameras in all four directions to compose a single, live overhead view of your immediate surroundings. Displayed on the central in-dash screen during low-speed maneuvers, it can help you avoid obstacles as you negotiate tight spaces, whether you're moving forward or backing up.</p>
Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX)
<p>The Mercedes-Benz User Experience is a breakthrough in automobile cockpit control that keeps advancing. MBUX integrates digital displays including a touchscreen, touch-sensitive controls, and an intuitive, intelligent voice control system that can respond to your natural voice, learn your habits, and grow smarter over time. Added personalization lets you set up seven user profiles of settings in the car or from your phone, and can pre-position the driver seat and mirrors based on your stature.</p>
