3.0L inline-6 turbo engine with mild hybrid drive

The smooth power and natural balance of an inline-6 pair with another Mercedes-Benz tradition: a technological leap ahead. The lightweight, beltless engine is electrified with an Integrated Starter-Generator that can add up to 23 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque, allow gas-free coasting, and recapture energy during deceleration. With a twin-scroll turbo, CAMTRONIC variable valve lift, and friction-reducing NANOSLIDE cylinder walls, the gas engine outputs 375 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque on its own.

4MATIC all-wheel drive

In any season, on any road, 4MATIC® all-wheel drive adds to your confidence and control. Always engaged and optimizing torque to every wheel, 4MATIC integrates with ESP®, our standard Electronic Stability Program, for maximum effectiveness in corners and slippery conditions.

System cannot overcome the laws of physics, nor is it a substitute for being attentive to driving, traffic and conditions. Please always wear your seat belt. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Best performance in snow is obtained with winter tires.

AMG body styling

Aggressive sculpting of the front apron, flared side sills and diffuser-style rear valance emphasize the athletic performance of the E-Class.

Driver camera

A driver-facing camera helps MBUX adapt the vehicle's systems and settings to the driver in a variety of ways. It can pre-position the driver seat and mirrors based on your stature. And its eye-tracking ability allows it to help detect driver drowsiness and distraction, teaming with the ATTENTION ASSIST® system as well as adjusting the displays and interior lighting to help the driver stay focused on driving.

Driving while drowsy or distracted is dangerous and must be avoided. ATTENTION ASSIST may be insufficient to alert a fatigued or distracted driver of lane drift and cannot be relied on to avoid an accident or serious injury.

MBUX Augmented Video for Navigation

MB Navigation can help make it easier to make turns and find your exact destination upon arrival. Using live imagery from a forward-facing camera on the central display, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) can superimpose useful information such as street names, house numbers and guiding arrows on a real-time view of the approaching environment.

While the navigation system provides directional assistance, the driver must remain focused on safe driving behavior, including paying attention to traffic and street signs. Maps do not cover all areas or all routes within an area, may require periodic updating, and may not reflect recent or temporary changes to roadways.
