Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine
<p>The AMG-developed biturbo V8 is engineered for a modern era of performance, generating 469 hp from just 4.0 liters. Its 516-lb-ft torque peak arrives at just 2,250 rpm, and persists to 4,500 rpm, to rocket you to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds on the way to a 183-mph top track speed. Enhancements include active crankcase ventilation, repositioned intercoolers and higher boost. Yet even with its advanced technologies, each engine is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.</p>
AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive
<p>A specially engineered version of 4MATIC® can instantly vary the front-to-rear torque distribution in precise response to driving conditions and driver inputs. It can even send up to 100% to the rear wheels. An electromechanical coupling between the front and rear axles is controlled based on an elaborate matrix of driving mode, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, and available grip to optimize handling and acceleration on virtually any road or track surface.</p>
AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension
<p>The AMG RIDE CONTROL Sport Suspension features electronically controlled 3-stage adaptive damping. It instantly varies the suspension characteristics to the driving situation, to help reduce body roll, pitch and dive while maximizing agility and tire contact. Three modes are selectable via AMG DYNAMIC SELECT or a separate pushbutton control: Comfort, Sport and Sport+ adapt the damping rates at progressively lower thresholds of wheel motion, lateral g-forces and driving speed.</p>
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
<p>A Mercedes-Benz innovation, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® cruise control uses radar-based technology to adapt your set speed in response to the flow of traffic ahead. If traffic slows down, it can reduce your speed automatically until your path clears. If the vehicle ahead slows to a stop, it can brake to a full halt. When traffic moves, you can resume with just a tap of the accelerator or cruise control resume button, or it can resume automatically if the stop is under three seconds.</p>

<p>The Mercedes-Benz User Experience is a breakthrough in automobile cockpit control that keeps advancing. MBUX integrates digital displays including a touchscreen, touch-sensitive controls, and an intuitive, intelligent voice control system that can respond to your natural voice, learn your habits, and grow smarter over time. In the AMG GT, 3rd-gen MBUX features a fast, powerful single processor, simplified icons more like smartphone tiles, and a range of new capabilities.</p>
