Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine

The instantly legendary AMG biturbo V8 heart beats even stronger in the GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE. Output reaches a breathtaking 603 hp, 590 lb-ft of torque, good for 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and a 199-mph top track speed. Twin-scroll turbos with low-friction bearings are located in the engine's "hot V" for virtually-lag-free boost. Enhancements include active crankcase ventilation, repositioned intercoolers and higher boost. Yet even with its advanced technologies, each engine is still hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.

Stated rates of acceleration are estimated based upon manufacturer's track results and may vary depending on model, environmental and road surface conditions, driving style, elevation and vehicle load.
Obey local speed and traffic laws.
Rear 150kW permanently synchronous electric motor

A 201-hp "permanently excited synchronous motor" (PSM) is mounted at the rear axle, part of an Electric Drive Unit that also includes a two-speed gearbox. Able to apply its torque instantly at full strength, its output can enhance takeoffs and passing, and even be sent toward the front wheels to enhance handling on a variety of surfaces. Together, the biturbo V8 and electric motor have a combined output of 805 hp and 1,047 lb-ft of torque.

AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive

A specially engineered version of 4MATIC® can vary the front-to-rear torque distribution in precise response to driving conditions and driver inputs. It can send up to 100% to the rear wheels, or transmit torque from the rear-mounted electric motor toward the front. An electromechanical coupling between the front and rear axles is controlled based on driving mode, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, and available grip to optimize handling and acceleration on virtually any road or track surface.

System cannot overcome the laws of physics, nor is it a substitute for being attentive to driving, traffic and conditions. Please always wear your seat belt. Performance is limited by available traction, which snow, ice and other conditions can affect. Always drive carefully, consistent with conditions. Best performance in snow is obtained with winter tires.
AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension

An innovative adaptive suspension features active anti-roll technology. Replacing mechanical torsion bars is a system that hydraulically interconnects all four adaptive shock absorbers. Intelligent, automatic and near-instant control helps arrest body roll and pitch in response to driving dynamics, sharpening cornering response via higher camber control, and refining comfort with precise compensation for individual wheel movements, even at the opposite wheel.

3rd Generation Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX)

The Mercedes-Benz User Experience is a breakthrough in automobile cockpit control that keeps advancing. MBUX integrates digital displays including a touchscreen, touch-sensitive controls, and an intuitive, intelligent voice control system that can respond to your natural voice, learn your habits, and grow smarter over time. In the AMG GT, 3rd-gen MBUX features a fast, powerful single processor, simplified icons more like smartphone tiles, and a range of new capabilities.

Bluetooth® interface does not provide phone charging or external antenna. Compatibility, features and pairing may vary based on user's device. Bluetooth is a registered trademark of Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
