Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine
<p>The legendary AMG biturbo V8 gets an additional boost for the GT 63 PRO. Output is heightened to 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. In 3.1 seconds it can reach 60 mph, with 124 mph arriving just 7.8 seconds later on its way to a 197-mph top track speed. Twin-scroll turbos with low-friction bearings are located in the engine's "hot V" for virtually-lag-free boost. Enhanced cooling helps support its on-track stamina. Per tradition, each engine is hand-built and signed by its own craftsman.</p>
AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive
<p>A specially engineered version of 4MATIC® can instantly vary the front-to-rear torque distribution in precise response to driving conditions and driver inputs. It can even send up to 100% to the rear wheels. An electromechanical coupling between the front and rear axles is controlled based on an elaborate matrix of driving mode, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, and available grip to optimize handling and acceleration on virtually any road or track surface.</p>
AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension
<p>An innovative adaptive suspension features active anti-roll technology. Replacing mechanical torsion bars is a system that hydraulically interconnects all four adaptive shock absorbers. Intelligent, automatic and near-instant control helps arrest body roll and pitch in response to driving dynamics, sharpening cornering response via higher camber control, and refining comfort with precise compensation for individual wheel movements, even at the opposite wheel.</p>
AMG Aerodynamics Package
<p>More aggressively aerodynamic details help reduce drag while enhancing downforce at speed. The front apron features gloss-black flics on the air intakes and wheel arches. Another set of flics and a deeper diffuser optimize airflow at the rear of the car, along with a fixed, gloss-black rear wing spoiler. At high track speeds, the rear spoiler can provide up to an additional 31 to 48 lbs of downforce over the standard rear spoiler.</p>
AMG Performance front seats
<p>Directly inspired by racing, the deeply contoured AMG Performance seats feature integrated head restraints and enhanced lateral support from the side bolsters in the seatback and lower cushion. The standard heating and ventilation features are retained.</p>
