Pebble Beach
Concours d'Elegance
Every August, 200 of the most prized collector cars in the world compete for one of the most prestigious awards in the automotive industry — Best of Show at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. A tradition since 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has been an annual gathering of rare and antique automobiles, international automotive luminaries and motorcar enthusiasts from around the globe. The competition is held on the spectacular 18th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links, with cars lined up and down the hallowed fairway. The unique competition is not a contest of speed, but rather elegance. Automobiles and motorcycles are judged for their historical accuracy, their technical merit, and their style.

McPherson College
A proud partnership based on our love of the classics.
Fostering the future of restoration.
The Mercedes-Benz Classic workshop employs several graduates of the Automotive Restoration Program at McPherson College, and our relationship can be traced back almost two decades. Supporting students through scholarship awards, facility improvements, internships and the employment of graduates, we’ve paved the way for them to pursue their educational and career dreams.
Recently, we’ve expanded this partnership as McPherson students restore a 1953 MB 300 S Cabriolet, with the goal of competing at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This project demonstrates the value of a bachelor’s degree in restoration, exhibiting students’ technical, historical, communication and organization skills. The High Mileage Award Program
Introduced in the 1960s, the High Mileage Award celebrates vehicles that embody enduring performance and remarkable journeys — including those surpassing the million-mile mark. The Mercedes-Benz Classic High Mileage Award is presented to owners whose vehicles have logged 155,000 miles or more.
Recipients receive a special grille badge and a certificate of achievement to honor this milestone. The program is offered exclusively within the United States.
How to apply
Please complete the steps below and email all required information and documents to highmileage@mbusa.com. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Your award will then be shipped by mail. Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.
- Provide a photo or copy of your vehicle title and valid driver’s license.
- Submit a clear photo of your vehicle’s odometer displaying the mileage.
- Pay the shipping and handling fee using this link. After checkout, include your order number on the application form in Step 4.
