Hybrid Integrated Starter-Generator
<p>Electrifying the gasoline engine is an innovative Integrated Starter-Generator. It teams with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery to supply power for formerly belt-driven components like the water pump and air-conditioning compressor, helping reduce weight and enhancing underhood packaging. In addition, the electric assist can generate additional, gas-free power and torque for immediate response.</p>
4MATIC fully variable all-wheel drive
<p>A specially engineered version of 4MATIC® can automatically send from zero to 100% of the engine's torque to either axle, front or rear. A transfer case with a multi-disc clutch can vary the torque distribution based on the driving conditions in the moment. While this allows for precise response to varying surfaces and individual-wheel traction off-road and in inclement weather, it can also enhance handling in any season by favorably influencing the vehicle's rotation.</p>
Digital Extra: 360° camera
<p>The advanced 360° camera uses cameras in all four directions to compose a single, live overhead view of your immediate surroundings. Displayed on the central in-dash screen during low-speed maneuvers, it can help you avoid obstacles as you negotiate tight spaces, whether you're moving forward or backing up.</p>

<p>Offering sweeping skyward views, this fully functional glass sunroof features a front panel that can either tilt up for ventilation or slide over the rear panel for an open-air feeling. Dual interior power shades allow occupants to adjust the amount of sunlight entering the cabin. With nearly 11 sq ft of glass, all passengers can enjoy a grand view of the sun and stars.</p>
MBUX Superscreen
<p>A major achievement in automotive displays, the Superscreen unites an LED instrument cluster, and two LED touchscreens behind a single cross-cabin span of high-strength, fingerprint-and scratch-resistant glass. Features include permanent soft keys for primary controls, and innovative "zero-layer" intelligent menu surfacing.</p>
